Leaving P-Minus

You can take your account with you or leave the writing behind. Both are asked for in the P-Minus app, and neither happens the moment you press the button. Somebody reads the request and carries it out, usually within a few days.

How to ask

  1. Open the P-Minus app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Leaving P-Minus, the last card on that screen.
  4. Pick one of the two choices below.
  5. Tap Send the request.

That screen then shows the request, and you can withdraw it there until somebody acts on it. You keep full use of the app in the meantime.

Which one

Remove my name, keep the writing

Your email address and your username go, and so does any way back into the account. What stays is a set of answers with nobody attached to them. Those answers are the only record anyone has of what this looks like from the inside, and what the program knows to say to the next person is built out of what people before them were willing to leave.

Delete everything

The account, every answer, every inventory you wrote, every lapse and every task. It goes and it does not come back. Payment records keep their amounts and dates with your name off them, and counts already folded into a research total cannot be pulled back out.

What deleting actually removes

The sign-in and the profile, every questionnaire answer, every inventory you wrote, the lapses and urges you logged, your trigger plans and committed acts, the lessons you read and the tasks you marked done, and anything you sent through the feedback box. The privacy policy says the same at greater length, including the two things that cannot be pulled back and why.

If you cannot get into the app

Write to [email protected] from the address you sign in with and say which of the two you want. The same person handles it on the same few days. Nobody will tell you over email whether an address has an account, for the reason above.
